Host-Pathogen Interactions

The study of how organisms defend against pathogens

CDB labs researching host/pathogen interactions are interested in the strategies that pathogens use to attack and exploit hosts, and how hosts defend themselves against these attacks. They use genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry and imaging to decipher the fundamental biology underlying these interactions.
