Institute for Advancement of Science Teachers

The Institute for the Advancement of Science Teachers, in partnership with UC San Diego Extension, offers online courses, certificates and state-approved credentials integral to the professional development and growth of k-12 science teachers.

The Institute is designed to prepare current and future science educators for the challenges they face in the modern day classroom. These course offerings will be available on campus, online, and in hybrid forms, giving teachers the flexibility in how to pursue their educational and professional goals.
