Unwanted Equipment for Disposal

Unwanted equipment goes out via Surplus Sales. The Division’s fiscal office will process the necessary paperwork and make adjustments to your equipment inventory if needed. All laboratory equipment needs to be decontaminated and green tagged before going to Surplus Sales. A green tag shows that the equipment is free of hazards. Surplus Sales will not take equipment without a green tag.
