Student Support Sessions (Office Hours & Review Sessions)

Location: Humanities & Social Science (HSS) room 1145L

Scheduling & Reservations

  • Available Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. (excluding holidays)
  • All reservations must be submitted through the School’s IA Office Hour Reservation Request form.
    • Instructional Assistants may view weekly time slots using the calendar link.
  • Requests are processed on a first-come, first-served basis and must be confirmed prior to use
  • Please allow a minimum of two full business days for processing

Guidelines

  • The space is not secure; personal belongings should not be left unattended
  • Users must adhere to scheduled reservation times
  • The space must be left clean and ready for the next user

Alternative Locations

IAs may choose to hold office hours in an Outdoor study space, Group Study Room, through Open Desk, at a coffee cart, or virtually.

Exam Support

Instructional Assistant may be asked to assist with facilitation of Scranton exams and/or Gradescope exam distribution. Please review the document for further instructions.

Course Materials and Printing 

Biological Sciences Faculty Assistants can assist Instructional Assistants and Course Instructors with course-related needs, including supplies, printing, and Scantron support.

Requests should be submitted directly to the Faculty Assistant. 

 

Technology

IAs may be able to access useful equipment via the Tech Lending Program.
