If you encounter problems with either the ice machines or water distillers/purifiers, contact the School Facilities and Shops, bioshophelp@ucsd.edu or 858-534-2449. To prevent duplicate service calls, post a note on the broken equipment informing other users about the problem and that a service call has been placed.
Talk to your fellow labs to coordinate use. Post signs on the freezer door to indicate ownership of any contents placed inside.
Contact the School Safety Officer, safetyofficer@biology.ucsd.edu if you require assistance operating the LSCs. The LSCs are preprogrammed. Make no changes. All users must complete the log book.

If you notice flooding in the dark room, it is most likely due to a backed up floor drain. Please report flooding to Facilities Management at 858-534-2930 right away. Use supplies from the dark room spill kit to contain the flood. Place a note on the door warning others about the situation and to inform them that a service call has been placed.
