Biology Graduate Student Seminar Series (BGSE 205)

The graduate research seminar series, BGSE 205, is a graduate course, in which all non-first-year Biology doctoral students present their research to a group of other students in topic-focused sections (see table below). The goal of this course is for students to practice their oral presentation skills and get meaningful feedback on presentation quality, research background, and research results from faculty, other students in the course, and the wider BioSci community. Seminars are open format with all members of the School (students, faculty, postdocs) encouraged to attend seminars in the group(s) related to their research work and interests.

There are five BGSE 205 sections. Students can register for any of these sections regardless of the departmental affiliation of their thesis advisor. It is required that students register for the same section for the entire academic year.
