Are international students being admitted this year?

Yes, the program admits international students every year. Each incoming class consists of approximately 30% international students. International students are encouraged to apply.

Does Biological Sciences have an International Student Pre-Application?

No, the program does not have an International Student Pre-Application.

Does UC San Diego require international applicants to have their transcripts evaluated?

Yes, beginning with the Fall 2023 admissions cycle, admitted international students are required to submit a WES Course-by-Course Evaluation to UC San Diego in order to have their admission finalized. If you have been admitted for Fall 2022, this requirement does not apply to you. More details around this requirement can be found here.
